The South African beauty and cosmetics landscape is notably divided into two sectors: the well organised caucasian sector and the less structured ethnic sector. Unfortunately, beauty and cosmetics businesses currently lack the regulation and recognition that would elevate their craft within the industry.
EBCIA was founded to bridge the gap between these two sectors, providing much-needed support and structure to the many ethnic beauty and cosmetics businesses operating informally across the country.
Through EBCIA, we aim to empower these businesses, fostering professionalism and respect for their invaluable contributions to the beauty industry.
Transforming the ethnic beauty and cosmetics industry landscape through regulation, empowerment, and excellence We envision a future where ethnic beauty and cosmetics businesses are recognized as pillars of professionalism, innovation, and cultural pride.
Our mission is to elevate the industry through a comprehensive, phased approach that prioritizes regulation, empowerment, and safety.
